Drip trays

Use drip trays as follows: 

• Place hazardous substances, classified by hazard classification, in separate drip trays. 
• In the case of flammable and explosive substances, the drip tray must be able to collect the entire contents. For other substances, the drip tray must be able to collect the contents of the largest package plus 10% of the contents of the other packages. 
• Place acids and bases in separate drip trays. 
• Place shaky volumetric flasks in a separate container to prevent tipping over and leakage. 
• Always check that the material of the drip tray is resistant to the hazardous substance.
