Working safely and healthily
Your umc believes it is important that you work in a safe and healthy working environment. Your umc therefore does not tolerate any form of transgressive behavior and does its best to protect you against it. There is a policy in place to prevent, limit and deal with transgressive behaviour and to encourage desired behaviour. The risks are regularly inventoried (RI&E), there are house rules and codes of conduct. Buildings, working environment and work processes are made safe. You will receive information and training in dealing with transgressive behaviour. And on this website you will find what you can do yourself to prevent transgressive behavior and how you can deal with it.
The Collective Labor Agreement umc includes a Protocol (Prevention of) transgressive behavior. This describes in detail how the umcs deal with the prevention of transgressive behaviour and what measures the umcs take in this context. The Protocol also refers to the local measures taken by the umcs.
The Guide to Persons with Misunderstood Behaviour in the Hospital of Safe Care explains what misunderstood behaviour is and how you can deal with people who exhibit such behaviour. How can you ensure the safest possible situation, for example in communication and posture?
As an employee, you share in the responsibility for a healthy and safe working environment by striving for healthy working behaviour. You can give your manager or the occupational health and safety advisor tips to improve your working environment.
