Interpretation of employers and employees

In the Working Conditions Act, the government provides general regulations for safe and healthy working. Employers and employees may decide for themselves how they comply with this and record this in a health and safety catalogue. For the UMCs, the employers' organization (NFU) and the employee organizations have jointly drawn up such a health and safety catalog containing agreements on about fifteen health and safety themes. The Dutch Labour Inspectorate assesses these agreements. The agreements on Psychosocial workload, which includes Workload, have been tested with positive results. The Dutch Labour Inspectorate checks whether the umcs are complying with the agreements.
